Over the weekend 25 people were shot in 2.5 hours, roughly the same shot per during the battle of Kaboni, except this was Chicago over the weekend with hardly a peep from the news agencies, there will be little if no activists activity protesting this.
One of the people that lived in the neighborhood that was interviewed said
“I know the rules,” he said.
The man had been on his way out when he heard the gunshots, he said. He commented on the brazenness of shootings he’s grown accustomed to.
“If they shoot you, they don’t even run,” he said.
MSNBC seems to have a hard time finding those groups. I listen every morning on my way to work. Not once have I heard them bring up a murder there… unless they can blame a cop.
When I get up in the morning on voting day and check the murdercast…if it’s more than a 20% chance I stay home.
Seriously, putting out a republican yard sign or GASP a trumphat on is INVITING murder, arson, and/decapitation in some parts of the country. In the pleasant but warm south where I live I’d be more afraid of murder or getting my house burnt down. Not so much about decapitation.

At least 59 people were shot and eight died during a massive outbreak of violence in Chicago since 5 p.m. Friday, according to published reports.What was the time frame?
The figure includes 34 shootings and five deaths that happened between 10 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, WLS-TV reported. During a 2.5 hour period, 25 people were shot in five separate, multi-injury shootings.
“We know that some of these incidents were targeted and are related to gang conflicts in those areas,” Chicago Police Chief of Patrol Fred Waller said at a press conference Sunday afternoon.
Many victims were teenagers, the Chicago Tribune reported. At least 16 teenagers were shot, and twelve of them were age 17 or younger. During a shooting spree in Gresham in the city’s far south side, seven of the victims were 21 or younger.

If a dem ever lies bleeding out in the street because of yet another failed progressive socialist dem project he better pray to his god if he has one that a conservative strolls by. A conservative would help him. Progressives could care less.
Were Chicago a conservative town this would be the national disgrace of this and the last century combined. But being a dem town it’s not even a blip on MSDNC. They avert their eyes. They avert their hearts.

I could be wrong but it seems much more focus is put on the handful of police shootings which greater than 90% come back as justifiable after their day in court, than what appears to be a war zone on the weekends in parts of Chicago.
Did you read the article 40-50 shootings on the weekend are the norm, and the killers don’t even bother to run, they just walk away. It sounds more like a day in some war torn country like Somalia rather than a major American city.
40-50 killings per weekend ya that fits the bill as a no gone zone for the general populace and it appears the police has either given up on the areas or not to excited to go into these areas.
It’s common in places like Chicago so we’ve become accustom to it, thus it doesn’t make big news.
Exceptional events generally are what gain exceptional press coverage. If anything focusing on the murder/shooting rates in major cities that have strict gun control laws works against the media narrative.
Among the people having their sentences reduced by President Barack Obama is Eric “Fat Eric” Wilson, a former “governor” in the Gangster Disciples street gang.
Obama on Tuesday reduced the 44-year-old Wilson’s life sentence for engaging in drug dealing with six others to 35 years in prison.
At the time of Wilson’s March 1998 sentencing, the Gangster Disciples was under the sway of Larry Hoover, who is serving a life sentence in federal prison in Colorado. Hoover allegedly ran the gang’s drug activities from an Illinois prison during the early 1990s.
Prosecutors say Wilson and other gang “governors” had hundreds of gang members reporting to him.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports Democratic Rep. Bobby Rush sent a letter to Obama saying Wilson deserved a break in his sentence because of his “extraordinary rehabilitative efforts.”
