Please show documentation that the the House took a general vote to start an impeachment inquiry into Nixon. I only see that numerous resolutions were submitted and that the Speaker referred them to the Judiciary Committee for hearings and investigation. That committee then spent 8 months investigating. After that time the committe voted on articles of impeachment to be delivered to the House as a whole. Nixon resigned after GOP Senators told him not only was he about to be impeach he would be convicted by the Senate.
Please show documentation that the the House took a general vote to start an impeachment inquiry into Clinton. The Ken Starr 5-year report was submitted to the House and referred to the Judiciary Committee for action. Hearings were held by the Judiciary Committee and articles of impeachment passed the committed and referred to the House as a whole for a vote.

You claim that Nixon and Clintonâs impeachment investigations were voted on by the House as a whole where in fact in both cases investigations were performed and that information referred to the Judiciary Committee to investigate the need for impeachment without a general House vote.
Please backup your claim.
Factual data please on the bill (House Resolution Number), date, time, and results of the vote which we can then check against the congressional record.

Keep in mind Pelosi has 240 seats, primarily based in the largest cities and college towns. That is part of the process to change the nation to one run by just a few cities.
Nixon never got a full House vote. He resigned before the vote happened. One more example of you making things up to defend the indefensible. Keep spinning buddy.

This may be what some are thinking in reference to Nixon.
Problem is that resolutions for impeachment were referred to the Judiciary Committee in October 1973.
This vote was to expanded the Committeeâs power to include subpoenaing the President. This occured in February 1974, AFTER the Committeeâs impeachment investigation had already begun.
