Thank you! He’s the biggest doofus. My sister was a dog groomer for a long while, and she insisted that GSDs are the biggest babies of them all, and she wasn’t wrong. He’s a little over 2, and he’s basically just an oversized puppy.

When we still had our cat & she was younger & reasonably healthy, she seemed to be in pain, so I took her to the vet.
Vet theorized she may have taken a low fall, for which cats aren’t really designed, and that was why she was limping.
He administered a cortisone injection, and the howl that came from her I could have phoned Stephen King for the sound effects for his next film.
Anyway my daughter was then 7, & one of her classmates showed up with his looked like an adult German Shepherd for an appointment. The cat’s howling could be heard even before reaching the office, and when we left, there was Aidan’s German Shepherd cowering under a chair.
The cat was fine & healed up when it was all over, but the dog really was scared
