I know I am Conservative but Anti-vaxxers are starting to piss me off

Yes…anecdotes are always effective ways to determine outcomes.

We could rub people’s noses in the source of their AIDS and smack 'em with a newspaper!

The title of this thread is noteworthy.

If I knew, I wouldn’t ask. Now can you answer said question?

Because what if he needs to go to the ER for something else, and no beds are available?

But they do take up medical and human resources in hospitals. COVID isn’t the only thing going on. People are going to show up to the ER for other things. They need care, too.

Maybe I wouldn’t be like this if there weren’t a staff shortage.

China built new hospitals to handle this, that is apparently something we can’t manage to do.

That’s one route we could take. But we still need to staff them.

And we should have expanded our medical education pipeline as well. But we could also poach other countries doctors with higher pay and green cards.

There is an alternative to this…rather than keeping him in a hospital, especially because he is epileptic and disabled, his medicare/medicaid would pay for an at home nurse to come in twice a day to do his IV antibiotics…this keeps him out of the hospital, he has a nurse checking on him twice a day, and he’s not in the hospital where he gets exposed to other things not just COVID in his compromised health state. There are ways around this. They should not have just dumped him. Social worker should have been working to set this up.

True. You’ve got a point.

An emotional plea when science doesn’t pan out for you. Enjoyed the shaming, have fun with your vaccine.

Can you give someone diabetes by breathing on them in a bus?

No, but you can give your kid soda and carbs until they get it. In any case what was being discussed there was not giving them medical care, not about community spread.

That depends on whether or not they’ve just eaten your favorite food and you get a craving.

Disinformation.

Irrelevant, some advocate those that CHOOSE not to get the vaccine, to not have insurance cover them if they do get sick. What about those who have natural antibodies from actually contracting covid, others such as my daughter in law who cannot take the vaccine. Then you have my daughter who DID get the vaccine, caught covid from her wife, and was JUST as sick. The left appears to AUTOMATICALLY assume that those who are not vaccinated are uneducated rubes. Sorry, it isn’t so black and white.

That makes it appear that this is ALL about control.
