Exactly and then “we the people” can get back to reality where our children won’t be mentally coerced into sexual confusion. Where “illegal” means just that and our laws are enforced. Where manufacturing and other living wage jobs will be motivated to come back to the US. Let’s all agree that if the Ds lose the midterms, it’s the greatest thing that could happen to this nation right now.
I agree he would have had support from more people. But his policy as stated in the campaign was to enforce all our immigration laws with mass deportations. He stated that criminals would be the priority, not the sole focus.
The BBB provides funding to not only focus on criminals but also to deport all those here illegally. That is how his campaign promise is kept.
Will he lose support for Republicans with this policy? Maybe. We will see in 2026. If so, he may have to modify his positions.
On the other side of the coin, you have the Democrat sanctuary movement that doesn’t want anyone removed, refusing to work with ICE to honor detainers for those being held in jails. Keep our foreign criminals safe.
Politics on the R side has been removed from the equation. There is not politics in the GOP any longer. There is only obedience to trump or retribution.
Politics does matter. It’s just that those supporting Trumps positions have been winning more often. If the side you don’t like wins, don’t confuse your losing with no politics.
It is not a coincidence that the unions in many european countries are the main reason they still have a strong middle class.
Unions did not drive away the jobs, corporate greed did . No American worker can compete with workers from China, Mexica, Virtnam or Taiwan…at the same pay rate.
Corporate America has done a great job of convincing workers what you are spouting. Unions are the best and most attainable way for the middle class to come back. Your personal experience with unions is just an anecdote.
Good unions combined with reasonable management are the key. When they both see each other as partners, things tend to go better. Germany is a good example of that.
Bad unions don’t help anyone, management or worker. But neither does bad management. You need both.
