Hunter pardoned

If only you really knew what is going on with me.

I’ve been tuned out for going on 4 years. Until this thread, I knew nothing about Biden’s statements regarding Hunter. Over the last couple of years, I had caught a passing headline about Hunter’s woes but had no interest in reading the stories behind the headlines.

I actually found out that Biden pardoned his son with this thread. My first post in the thread speculated that Trump might have done the same thing. I still hadn’t read any news accounts of the pardon. No interest.

I quickly noticed the lie theme coming up in the thread. Not having followed any of this in the news, I kind of wondered out loud about the possibility of Biden changing his mind rather than lying. I wasn’t quite prepared for the blowback I received. It was a simple question from someone who still hasn’t read a single article about any of this.

If you knew anything about me, you would see how absurd your claim is that I’m taking marching orders from the DNC. :astonished:

I’m a registered Republican, and I don’t even take orders from the RNC. Why would I take them from the DNC?

I have always said all politicians are liars and in it for themselves.

My disdain for all politicians on all sides is well known here (i bore everyone with it ).

Anyone who thinks any politician gives a crap about the electorate are deluded. Alas its the best system we currenrly have

He does have a stupid sense of humor.

Everyone who meets Trump does say he has a great sense of humor but no real ability to laugh at himself.

He is a Narcissist.

Didn’t say that.

What I said was that you heard the latest lie coming from the White House and decided to come here and give it a go.

As to the rest of your post.

So let me get what you claim straight.

You have ignored politics for 4 years. So much so that you decided to go to a internet political discussion forum, for what exactly.

Sorry, not buying it

What’s changed?

You really aren’t paying much attention. I’ve been a very active member of this forum since 2000. I got depressed with Trump’s 2020 loss and decided I needed a break. After a 4-year hiatus, I’m back. I attribute that to Trump’s win.

Everything I stated about my 4-year hiatus is true. I reinvented myself, choosing to cut way back on the politics. I really haven’t read beyond the headlines during that time. Just enough to keep up with major events.

Anyone thought he wasn’t going to do that is outright ■■■■■■■ stupid.

I said right here on this forum Biden was going to do it regardless if he won or lost.

@peek-a-boo has been on the forum for years but has not been a regular poster in recent years (based on just what i have seen).

But peeks does not need me to fight their battles :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

What I said was that my first exposure to the Pardon was with this thread. How could I hear what is coming from the Whitehouse, if I’m not reading anything in the news regarding the pardon?

And you were right. Bravo .

I admit I was wrong (obviously).

I agree with that. They are all self aggrandizing, lying narcissists. Elections are really nothing more than a contest of which side can do the best job polishing their selected turd. These virtuous characteristics of honor, integrity, honestly they try to portray are relics of the past (if they ever were a real thing). Now it’s really about chosing how you will vote based on what you think the candidates may do while serving…or more accurately, who is likely to cause the least damage.

Unfortunately, someone does need to run the show. And seeing that neither you, me or anyone else around here seem to have the will or desire to do it, we’re stuck with the ■■■■ bags that do.

Great post and one I agree 100% with.

Yep! I’ve been somewhat absent for the last 4 years or so. After Trump’s loss, I did weigh in briefly on the January 6th events and the claims of voter fraud. And then I quit cold Turkey.

But I see one big difference with Trump. Yes, he is a self-centered narcissist. But he doesn’t try to be something that he’s not.

For instance. His McDonald’s stunt. No other politician could have convincingly pulled that off. Trump is an unapologetic fast-food junkie. He was in his natural element.

That’s why he attracts large crowds at his rallies. People genuinely want to be around him.

You are supposed to start fairly tales with “Once upon a time.”

Exactly what part of “Not buying it” are you having difficulties with?

You are a lone wolf in the wilderness. Many forum members have interacted with me over the last 20 years. They know that you are the one with credibility problems.

I was just trying to set the record straight so that you don’t keep embarrassing yourself.
