Those wrestlers really beat the ■■■■ out their bodies. I recall him talking about losing 4 inches in height from all the abuse on his back.

Just hitting the news, an hour ago, hulk hogan has died. Wow what a year in celebrity deaths.
Hogan aka Terry Bollea gave his heart to Jesus.

He certainly was iconic!
Despite his way in the pseudosport, he was never on the level of Richard Morgan Fliehr or Richard Blood, let alone Steve Borden.
Fliehr and Blood were doing wrestling matches that could bring the house down (and did in Landover where the Reagan inauguration took place in 1985), and we know about Fliehr vs Borden in 1988.

Plus he’s from that era where pro wrestlers were all certainly steroided out of their minds. I’m sure that cut into his actual lifespan significantly. But much like Ozzy, he lived way longer than anyone else expected him to back in the day.
