How hypocritical is it to claim you want strong borders if you're going to allow this?

Walls work. Building walls where they are not necessary is a waste of taxpayer money. You know we had secure walls for many years under Obama, clinton, etc. right?

Strategic walls placed in high traffic areas. Not just a big wall across the entire southern border. No sane person is asking for those walls to be torn down.

Allan

That’s what we were doing until that moron Biden showed up.

The wall we were building is the wall border security officials said they needed. Sorry but theirs is the opinion I shall listen to.

And we still have a budget for wall construction under biden despite the rights vociferous prostrations.

Just not using defense funds that trump used. But money actually earmarked for wall construction.

Meanwhile Fox reported this morning that a camp set up for migrants to stay in Mexico has been closed, it was opened 2 years ago…those people all flooded across the border into Brownsville, TX.

They will all disappear into the country.

In the last 7 day there have been 10000 apprehensions in the Rio grande sector. (Don’t have a link listening to the radio while filling up waterers).

The Cochise county sheriff is on Fox right now saying Biden’s policies are “kicking our butts. The cartels are the only ones smiling. The cartels are using the infrastructure that was put in place for the wall as walking paths.”

“These people being released are wards of the federal government but we don’t have the resources to deal with them.”

That’s from the sheriff of Cochise County as we speak.

Stupid policies get stupid results.

Your party abandoned you.

That’s is your opinion. Mine differs.

Denial - one of the stages of grief.

Well except I am not grieving about anything at the present time.

Allan

Because: denial.

I can tell you feel it.

Statistically speaking about 80% of the world is poor, especially according to US standards. About 1/2 is very poor, and about 10% live in extreme poverty; that’s about 800 million people in extreme poverty. That’s roughly 4 trillion dollars per year to lift and keep them out of poverty, which would be over 24 trillion dollars per year at US cost of living numbers. And as the video noted one of the key drivers of world poverty is the fact that it’s the people living in poverty (which is the case in the US as well) who are having the majority of the children.

Lol. So I am denying something so I won’t know the reality of the situation. Lol.

Nope. No sale on that.

Allan

We have somewhere between 11 and 30 million people living in this country illegally. That number is not going to get any smaller as we continue to open the borders up more and more under the incompetent leadership of the socialist Democrats pulling Biden’s strings. They all got the signal when Biden was elected…

The more people we having in the country illegally, the worse the problem gets. It’s that simple.

Exactly.

I’ve said for years that being poor in America or Western Europe is totally different than being poor in Africa or parts of central and South America or Southeast Asia.

If you have indoor plumbing, can drink water that won’t make you throw your guts up, and your house has a floor, you’re doing better than a significant portion of the world’s population.

I’d take being “American Poor” over being “Laotian” poor any day of the week.

Ignoring what you know to be true as evidenced by your repeated reference to “sanity”.

Biden admin border policy is causing child molestation and sex trafficking which is just slavery. And they don’t care.

And the current Democratic party is perfectly fine with that number skyrocketing over the next few years. All they care about is power and everyone of them knows that having massive numbers of impoverished, ignorant and desperate people is good for them politically. There’s no better voter then one who will need government for the rest of their life and who has no concern or connection to that messy US Constitution.

Also, the trick they are using know is to abuse our asylum laws. Here’s the thing, they are not coming illegally because they are all here to seek asylum, and hence we have to give them a hearing. And since we can’t house them all then we have no choice but to give them work permits and a bus ticket to anywhere in the country they want to go. Furthermore there’s no way way of vetting them all and having a clue whether or not they have criminal backgrounds. No other country in the world does this.

For today’s Democrat a person’s value is measured by their political value, nothing more.

I can’t find the link … there was a story on Fox is the 7 or 8 am hour this morning about a UN Report that an overwhelming # of those asylum claims are being rejected.

That’s because the people from Central America DO NOT fit the intended legal definition of asylum:

"Every year people come to the United States seeking protection because they have suffered persecution or fear that they will suffer persecution due to:

** Race*
** Religion*
** Nationality*
** Membership in a particular social group*
** Political opinion"*

These are ethnically, religiously, nationally monolithic groups. They are fleeing poverty, crime and corrupt governments. It is a false notion by the Left that the US is somehow obligated to hear any and all asylum claims.

What I know to be true is that the wall was funded by congress and that funding remains intact.
