Houston we have a problem with college kids voting

If you use digital fingerprints, dead people can still vote.

Only once.

Actually, if they’re so uninformed that they don’t know how postage works (for gosh sakes, we know they all have smart phones and know how to Google) they are too uniformed to vote.

Perhaps, but at what?

Such dismissive attitudes about the intelligence of some voters.

Right after someone takes down all of our communications satellites and fries our electronics with emf bombs. You should learn to put a horse in harness too, unless you have a 40+ yr-old car in the garage.

Why shouldn’t student be allowed to vote in the state their going to school?

Wait your saying people don’t understand how to properly mail in their ballot since they are never taught how to do that in civics class…

They absolutely should if they change their legal state of residence to the state in which they are attending school and meet the requirements of being a legal resident.

You don’t need to be taught in school how to mail in a ballot, they come with instructions.

They can, if they change their residency and voter registration to that State. But even kids who go to college in their own State, but in a different city from where they are registered, must either vote absentee or vote a questioned ballot.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the voters. How do you think Trump won the primaries and was elected President?

As I said, if they are too dumb to figure that out, they are too dumb to be trusted with the vote. It’s a self correcting problem.

Most young kids now a days don’t know what’s in the Constitutional Amendments or the Bill or Rights now a days. And they don’t know what they’re actually voting for! They need to be a lot more informed! Because if they were! they would probably vote the opposite of people like Bernie Sanders, which is a Socialist! So who is going to inform them/ educate them? Cause Liberal Colleges sure aint ganna do it!

Most of them have no depth beyond voting a straight party ticket and those on the left for the most part have no idea who or what they are demonizing, they are just wind up puppets repeating what they hear.

Unfortunately most of their parents aren’t much if any better.

Yep, those kids on the right are endowed with an above-average ability. They are the most open-minded and the least likely to get their information from limited sources. You nailed it, dude.

This is the right way to do and in my experience of putting three daughters through college, this is the way it’s done. I also have a hard time believing that many of them don’t know how to mail a letter.

They sure know how to receive them, especially if there is money or snack involved.

Actually, now a days a lot of kids growing up in Republican type households end up doing at least some sort of liberal things growing up. Such as pot, drinking, gambling, etc.
Wisdom tends to come with age because of life experience. The Democrats go after children at a young age for a reason. Because they’re an easy target. Just ask the Disney channel. Britney Spears, Christina Agulara, Lindsey Lohand, Miley Cirus. They go from Disney to being sex symbols for a reason. It’s political. tons of little girls imulate these women, and want to be just like them. Add drugs into the equation, and it makes things even worse.

There have been studies that show that the brain hasn’t finished developing at the age of 18. I’m of the opinion that the voting age should be raised, to ensure the vote isn’t dominated by children with incomplete brains, who are easily influenced by the MTV and other dumb things that kids imulate. I’m thinking that 50 years old is a good age for people to start voting.

I agree. And because we get jaded by the time we reach 70 and realize that voting doesn’t fix anything, that should be the cutoff age. Only those between the ages of 50 and 70 should be allowed to vote. The country would be better for it. :snooty:
