Schiff very clearly stated what he was reading was NOT what the president said.

I can’t believe this is what the right is focusing on.

That’s what I keep thinking. If attacking Schiff’s parody speech is the best line of attack Trump can muster, maybe he really is in trouble.

well, maybe that’s it, but there is something very odd about trump - once he says something, he seems compelled to repeat it.

it’s like his brain is just so convinced that everything he says is brilliant, so it has to be repeated. Or, he just knows if you repeat something long enough someone will believe it…

He also has repeats built into his speech pattern. On just about every topic - participially those he doesn’t really know anything about, his pattern is like A-B-C-B-A or A-B-C-A-B.

He starts with a statement, augments that statement, talks about something, often only tangentially related to the topic, then returns to his original statement and augmentation.

Its’ very strange.

Schiff lied through his teeth when pretending to read Trump’s statement then he lied through his teeth again and called it a “parody” when caught red handed.

Everybody knows that.

Shiff announced before reading his statement that he was providing the essence of the call.
What about Collins saying in his opening comments that the Mueller report stated that there was no collusion?
If we are going to censure members of Congress for misleading statements, we aren’t gonna have many members of Congress.

Is essence a new word for lying? He was hoping to be taken as literally reading the call.

By the way it is now known the so called whistle blower is a democrat.

All credibility is shot at this point.
