Plumbers and dry wallers are going to be busy for the foreseeable future if my FB and NextDoor feeds are any indication. Sooooo many burst pipes. Iā€™ve been luckier than most, lost power for a couple hours while people right down the street have been out 40+ hours. Water is intermittent, mostly on but will drop down to a trickle. No internet so canā€™t really work.

Woke up early and it was raining so if that freezes things will get very interesting.

Apparently itā€™s a great sport now to go out on the same disreputable media outlets that touted ā€œvoter fraudā€ and blame wind turbines and solar, and Iā€™m sure the same people will be frothing at the mouth about windmills. All of the lost capacity, which is primarily coal and natural gas has been by choice.

large machinery is used, but it is essentially the process of raking debris.
