Well, there goes the quid pro quo defense from the Trump team.

That’s quid pro quo?

If that’s the best you folks can come up with 2020 is going to be entertaining as hell.

Ummm…all that shows is that they were talking about having an investigation. We knew that. And that is what should be done.
Why are Democrats trying to obstruct an investigation?

I will enjoy the upcoming empeachment hearings. It’s gonna be a rough one for Trump worshipers.

I read it just fine.

If it is not Unconstitutional for a President to request a foreign country to investigate possible corruption involving people in both countries, then this whole hysteria is based on garbage.
Show me in the constitution where a President cannot request an investigation for fact finding purposes to be held in a foreign country.

Apparently the new standard is that if someone is running for office neither they nor any of their family members can be investigated.

Odd that standard didn’t apply in 2015/16.

They even wrote up the statement for the Ukraine government to release showing off the deal…

This just gets better and better.

Its funny how military aid got suspended after Ukraine refused to publish that press release.

Taylor: As I said on the phone, I think it’s crazy to withhold security assistance for help with a political campagin

Sondland “Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump’s intentions,” he writes via text. "The President has been crystal clear: no quid pro quo’s of any kind. The President is trying to evaluate whether Ukraine is truly going to adopt the transparency and reforms that President Zelenskiy promised during his campaign.

um what? you just defined quid pro quo

Sondland’s proclamation that Trump was clear about no quid pro quo seems a little too convenient. That text was on Sept. 9, the same date the IG notified the House Intelligence Committee about the whistleblower complaint. That was CYA by Sondland in case anyone ever read the texts.
