Agreed. This guy brought this on himself.

You attempt to use a weapon on anyone carrying, including the police, you are liable to eat two or three rounds.

Simply a fact, shoot center mass as that’s the most likely spot to stop the threat.

On the list of really dumb, really ridiculous ideas this rates very highly.

Nope…#1 The guy wouldn’t have grabbed their taser… # 2 He wouldn’t have gotten away.

LEO’s never let an armed violent felon flee if they can stop him, to do so would violate everything they are taught from day one and what the public expects of them not to mention the civil and criminal liabilities that would come with such a decision.

You’re just making things up whole cloth now.

A good indication you had nothing to start with.

Adjust those numbers for population and compare them to the US.

If you say so…lol.

I agree with that. That is why I support President Trump

And another thing.

Why destroy the Wendy’s?

What did they do?

That was senseless terrorism and destroys my good tidings toward protests in general.

The poor people that worked there had to be in sheer panic as the mob formed. They did the right thing to alert the authorities to a passed out driver in the drive through lane. he would have killed somebody with that vehicle if the PD hadn’t stopped him.

As right as the outrage was over Floyd…this one is dead wrong.

:police_car:

Which of those countries has our borders, our size, our violent crime problems, our demographics, violent armed gangs and cartels to deal with like we do?

It isn’t even arguable, people do die as a result of being tased therefore it’s a “Less Lethal” but still “Lethal Weapon”.

Use one unlawfully and you face the same aggravated assault charges you face when using a knife or gun.

That also is largely dependent on where you are hit in relation to major nerves.

Theft of a taser while committing an aggravated felony such as assault on a PO is an aggravated felony.

Threatening or using one is another aggravated felony.

Had he lived he was looking at about a dozen or more aggravated felony charges.

Other than letting him escape which is a breech of duty and puts the public at high risk exactly how were they supposed to “deescalate” the situation after HE decided to fight, take, and use the taser against the pursuing officers?

Be specific.

Like people don’t have spare keys… . :joy:

How far away was backup?

We all know this isn’t true so why do you keep repeating it?

It only shows just how desperately lacking in support your arguments are.

Not to mention the liability for the cops and the local gov’t agency they work for.
