i don’t think we can say that.
the truth is most of them would not have died… yet.
maybe some were on the way out in months
some were being treated and had a few years
some longer
I do believe that relatively few would have died now. but certainly some
since the average age is 78, likely many with conditions would not have been around much longer anyway. what is life expectancy now? 80?
Completely false. Lol. I asked for dates and this is your response?
Please spare the diatribe and provide the dates, please.
Date of CDC issued their guidelines for nursing homes for the COVID crisis.
What was it and when was it issued?
Then we can compare it to both Cuomo and Murphy’s actions and the people can decide for themselves of what happen.
Allan
the leftist masters lie, and you suck it up like a sponge.
Wrong again.

Andrew Cuomo
stated on May 20, 2020 in a news conference:
“Why did the state do that with COVID patients …
already been posted. I’m not surprised you intentionally ignored it. Can’t have anything interrupt the narrative.
Your governor is guilty of negligent homicide on a massive scale.
cdc guidelines 23 march
nj policy 30 march
at least he lowered the future cost for caring for the elderly in nursing homes. bernie would be so proud!

I already provide you the dates with links. right above the post you responded too. But please try and move that goalpost again.
silly, the links are in the post
not surprised you intentionally ignored them. next time, click on the damn link yourself.
your governor is guilty of mass negligent homicide. although, since the guidance is there, and he chose to ignore it, it could be said he either knew or should have known what he did would result in mass deaths. does that make it murder in nj?
the link is in the post. 30 march. click on it your damn self
your governor is a mass murderer

The link says nothing about admitting patients into long term care facilities.
Allan

No. People died because they caught COVID, and COVID exacerbates many conditions, and also because people with conditions have struggling immunes systems, which leads to worse results with covid.
If these people didn’t get COVID, they would not have died on the day that they did. (Well, some small number statistically would have, but you know what I mean).
It is a mischaracterization of the data to claim they did not die of COVID.

Discharge?
I thought we were talking about admitting patients into long term facilities during the covid crisis?
Who cares about how patients are discharged.
Allan
lol… discharged from the hospital to a long term care facility.
but of course, you knew that.
your governor is a mass murderer.
Those same people may have died if they got some other infections or virus’ as well. You don’t know.
I know a person who had a total knee replacement. They had a pulmonary embolism and died. If that person had Covid, they would have died and people might consider a pulmonary embolism causation to be Covid. But a PE after a surgery is actually pretty common.
I think the concerns should be more than it is nothing and less than shut down the country. Politics should not be involved in this.

And what were the guidelines by the cDc on discharging patients to long term facilities?

Why don’t you read the link? You can read can’t you? You don’t even have to open the link it is in plain sight on my post directly to you.
How does that correlate with the Murphy directive?
What exact CDC guideline did he not follow?
In plain English. From the guidelines issued.
