Coincidently, the middle class’ wealth has decreased, while the wealthy have become amazingly wealthy since that time.
Democrats are guilty of joining that bandwagon under Clinton, and pretty much continued a very similar path.
W blew the whole thing up, and then the Democrats failed to correct the direction of the ship under Obama…mostly to a handful of conservative democrats blocking good changes, and when the republicans took back the house, they blocked damn near EVERYTHING.
Your angst is directed at the wrong ideology.
