I guess you donât care for the constitution and being innocent until proven guilty. Unless it is a democrat than even if guilty let them walk around free because they are too stupid or senile to know they were breaking the law.

But the Sherriff is screwing up things. It seems he wants the glory to be only only HIS. Wont share with FBI.
Apparently the DNA from the gloves may be "used up " by the Florida lab and there may be none left for FBI to use even if theyâre given the samples later.
Also results have to be sent back to AZ and THEN the sheriff has to send it to the FBI to include it into CODIS.
All that takes TIME which the Sherriff is wasting. 
He must be a Democrat âŠpeople should remember that next election.

The Left is complaining about potential nefarious use of the technology in products/services like Ring because it could assist organizations like ICE.
It shouldnât just be the left. Surveillance states should be complained of.
Yet weâre cheering about what the technology has contributed to the Guthrie case.
Maybe itâs not really âsurveillance stateâ.

Main reason was the fact it was an active investigation. But as @Camp correctly pointed out i went way off topic here with this so we can continue the discussion in the appropriate thread

Both can be done. Just need to understand the price of it helping in criminal or desperate cases. Like finding a pet and having ring have access to the entire neighborhoods.
The notion of using this technology for a âsurveillance stateâ is a growing lib red herring attached to anti-ICE sentiments though.
Itâs not like someone is sitting in some secret room watching your every move. Heck, for years weâve had cameras, millions of them, all over the place. Only when there is a need to look back and see what was recorded for a crime does anyone pull up what got recorded.
But now the Superbowl Ring ad showing how they found a lost dog has suddenly triggered a narrative from the Left that somehow this is problematic.
My original point was that the technology is key in helping with the Guthrie case. But if half the population ditches their Ring services, what will that do moving forward? And really, doing so is at the customerâs own peril. They got it in the first place for their own protection.
I dont understand ditching it. I understand complaints about authorities abusing it.
Not everything is always about ICE. But in todayâs environment i guess it has to be to.
Such âcomplaintsâ are fabrications though.

Itâs a fabrication today for sure. There is no mass use of ring etc by government Agencies to surveil people
I understand what you are referencing. Itâs still a concern as home cams become more prevalent. I know of at least one place where ring is used to basically monitor your neighbors. Its voluntary. There is no government involvement. People just do it. Itâs slightly weird
Is there a point to that notion? There was no âspyingâ on the poor missing womanâs ring door bell. Lets get back to the real issues.

I am keeping my Ring cameras and will continue proudly monitor my property.
I was in Hokkaido and Pheonix recently and received videos of my neighbor diligently checking my property by our neighborly agreement when i was/am out of the area.
I also have other cameras and devices besides Ring cameras. Also have motion activated lighting.
Wish that mising lady had gotten a site survey to protect herself and her residence. This is a very sad event.
Oh, i purposely do not have cameras on my neighbors. But, two neighbors asked for me to keep watch on their properties (and i obliged them.)
I have been blessed with good neighbors who are part of the solution and not part of the problem.

This does not appear to be a kidnapping but appearantly is a result of something going wrong when âmr. gun slingerâ gained entry, or, his/their intentions were evil to begin with. He was too packed swhen he was outside (before he gained access.) His backpack appeared to be full . I will be glad when we learn what really happened and the perps are caught.
PRESIDENT TRUMP and the law enforgcement task force have not written off the victims and are recovering them. PRESIDENT Trump has created a taskforce for the exploited.
However, the media, talking heads, foul weather merchants, etc, etc, do not place much notice on the missing and exploted kids. The unfortunate 84 year old has 24/7 attention since the day she disappeared. OUR MEDIA SHOULD DEVOTE as much time to the missing and exploited children (and human trafficking victims) as they do to her (the 84 year old missing lady.)
