GOP controls the Presidency, the House and the Senate.
But the shutdown is the Dems’ fault.
People who believe this are why we have labels on hair dryers warning not to have them plugged in and use them while you’re in a full bathtub.

We can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible that are bad for them and irreversible by them, like cutting vast numbers of people out, cutting things they that they like, cutting programs that they like.

I think that is kind of his point. 8 of the more moderate Dems could vote for the CR and NOT give Trump what he wants, that would be the smart thing to do. Progressive just want to fight for the sake of fighting. They should be saving it for the ballot box.
