As to this sudden, and very cynical concern about the Christian population.
Christians were not a demonstrated concern when Yugoslavia broke up and Christians were bombed to benefit Islamic forces.
Christians were not a demonstrated concern when Syria was handed over to Al Qaeda head choppers who immediately took to killing them.
Christians were not a demonstrated concern when funding the IDF as it targeted churches in Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and the West Bank. During services no less.

Maybe people calling Nigeria a failed state, calling it sectarian violence believing that 150k Christian’s have been killed since 2009 should actually read what’s going on in Nigeria from local sources. They have English newspapers.
It’s a country of 232m. Boko haram targets Muslims as well as Christian’s and it has mostly killed Muslims.

I know, you were just making a generalization, that is a bit too general. Its as much mistake to think all people think the same about this as think the same about Ukraine. People on either side of these issues have different reasons for either supporting them, not supporting them, or remaining ambivalent.
