It’s a pretty good size rugged country in a part of the world unlikely to be happy about our presence.

I really don’t have opinion on it…reason I don’t know enough about this situation. Or whether it is in our national interest.

I was in 3d ID when it happened in 94. We sent elements in with the French. The locals had been slaughtering any man, woman, or child, of any age, just because they were from the wrong tribe.

What would the military mission be?

Defend every church in country?

A religious war?

It’s been a religious war for longest time.

Arm the Christians? Who the ■■■■ knows. Everything that we do has unintended consequences that has to be well thought out before acting.

Depends on what your definition of war is.

Military intervention … quite possibly (if the Nigerian government does not reign in the Islamic terrorists)

Invasion (boots on the ground) … not a chance.

I don’t know what we should do. Allow another genocide? Leave it to Europe to handle? Leave it to African states to handle?

I think genocide is bad,
and
It is in america’s best interest to make our enemies
think twice about using it a s policy tool.

I have a generally low opinon of blood thirsty islamist ghouls who murder people for fun and profit, and I smile inwardly everytime they get their asses kicked.
