Georgia school shooting 9/4/2024

That kid didn’t need to have a gun I wouldn’t argue with that at all. If the father bought that gun after they were interviewed for threats against the school he will likely be in bad trouble if he indeed bought the gun for the kid.

Reading up on that family they were messed up. Sounds like the mom was a hot mess as well.

Yes, it’s called a CIB.

The FBI sent the local cops.

Good point, we should be allowed 3 round burst capability at minimum.

These teachers in the Georgia school had panic pendants, which they used. I believe the kid surrendered to the SRO?

And what did they conclude about him from that interview?

There’s what?

What score do you have to achieve to be an Expert?

Same conclusion apparently.

easy access to a mass killing weapon.

see something, say something, the police were powerless to prevent…

Nope, just more badges. POG’s get a Combat Action Badge and Infantrymen get a Combat Infantryman Badge.

You get actual medals in combat for doing cool boy things like fighting while wounded, pulling a wounded buddy out of the line of fire, etc…

So, should all parents be held responsible if their underage child commits a crime?

Just so you people know:

No one on Facebook has a clue about this shooting. Not one single mention. It’s just the tabloid addicts getting their fix at this point.

:man_shrugging:

It’s also important to note that the 14 year old was stopped by an armed campus police officer. Had a good guy with a gun not been there, perhaps the number of dead and wounded would be much higher.

Ah, so there’s really why it’s not circulating on Facebook.

wow- that’s crazy.

Georgia law does not otherwise expressly make it unlawful for an adult to negligently or recklessly leave unsecured firearms, including handguns and long guns, accessible to unsupervised minors.

Do people here think that should change?

Things that prevented this kind of nonsense through centuries of gun ownership. Agreed, ■■■■ that ■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■ .

And ■■■■ the pieces of ■■■■ trying to make laws for me over things that had nothing to do with them.
