Someone better get hold of Judge Sullivan now and set him straight on the facts. This is what he told Flynn in court today.
All along, you were an unregistered agent of a foreign country while serving as the national security adviser to the president of the United States. That undermines everything this flag over here stands for. Arguably you sold your country out.
The criminal conspiracy General Flynn’s business partners were just indicted for, based on the assistance and cooperation of General Flynn, and for which the SCO said they would have also indicted and charged if not for his cooperation, began around June of 2016 and went through March of 2107; well after General Flynn’s time as the NSA to President Donald Trump. Had he also been indicted on these same charges, he too would have been included in these timeframes.
He may know more than has been published, but I have seen no evidence that it is true that he was an unregistered agent of a foreign county while serving as the NSA. The judge knows more than has been made public or he doesn’t understand the facts himself. After, all, he ludicrously mentioned Treason…which has absolutely nothing to do with this case. That “treason” comment should have had him removed from the case.
The article you referenced stated that they were making arguments for his extradition. Whatever that is, and it may well be unsavory, it is not kidnapping.
It is a legal process used by the government to return someone to another country for crimes committed there.
Individuals cannot do that. They can make arguments about it though. That is not kidnapping.
Or you could, you know, not defend Flynn. No one would actually hold it against you considering the really damning evidence just emerged in the last few days, including a federal judge asking him in open court if he was a traitor.
This isn’t Trump though. It’s Flynn, he’s been out for yonks. And Flynn clearly committed some serious oopsies involving his loyalty to the country he served.
