Fred Phelps was liked on this board.
Then came the day Westboro protested Reagan’s funeral. A thread was started on the board lamenting how it was Phelps doing it and how could he betray conservatives like this. Because regardless of what political affiliation Phelps may have had in the past he was an ally against the gay menace up til that point. Numerous cons chimed in about how disappointed they were in Phelps for protesting St Ronnie’s funeral.
That was the day the tide turned for him here on Hannity.
Never happened.
Oh yes it did…I remember it quite well. Tho I will add, it wasn’t just Reagan’s funeral, it was the funeral of killed military members. But up to that point, conservative republicans on the original Hannity board were all in for the Westboro Church.

I was here. It never happened. He was brought up by the left and by libertarians as a tool to attempt to brand the right with, but he and his bunch were persistently disavowed by the right. I know, I was one of the ones bringing him up as that was during my libertarian phase.
He was a democrat.
Even tha_malcontent disavowed phelps and fam.
