Freedom Exemplified

Yeah that’s pretty good. The two are certainly related. Hubris from the world revolves around me syndrome, a rather selfish attitude.

Or this incident will help push even stronger anti-jumping laws.

Freedom?

Given the mental state of jumpers, what would be the point?

Hmmm…Gay marriage, abortion…just a few things Cons try to control. I have no problem with suicide…as I said, just don’t endanger anyone else while doing so.

Stronger laws won’t prevent jumpers, but that’s how government usually responds to these types of problems nevertheless.

What’s with the sudden concern about jumping?

There are an average of 132 suicides per day in this country.

The only reason we know about this one is the novelty of taking that poor dog with her

Don’t ask me. The only reason I know about it is because of this thread.

Pets aren’t property to be treated as one wishes. Is this like the Aztecs, who sacrificed a dog so that a departed member of the tribe could have a companion to guide them through the underworld?

Suicide is as old as mankind. I don’t think it’ll ever end as an option.

But the whole she did it her way tone of this thread is just as disturbing as that stupid song:

Hmmm…I think I responded to the wrong post.:smirk:

You’re the one arguing what she did was fine, I’m just exploring alternative endings the next time someone does this action which is Sneaky-approved.

Which will be even more irrelevant.

What was her mental state.

Indeed. Authoritarian high modernism.

Sure, why not?

“Fine”?

It’s unfortunate to see that pets are just property to some (copyright) people.

I support assisted suicide for those that are terminally ill.

In the majority of failed suicide attempts, people do not try again.

She needed help. More resources could have saved her (or others like her).

Of course they are property.

Trying to shame me? Tsk, tsk.

How do you know she wanted to be “saved”?
