Four black teens were fundraising for their high school football team. Afootball team. A woman held them at gunpoint

I just shake my head and try to make sense of it. It actually could have been a good topic to talk about.

It was a great topic of discussion. On Facebook. With people interested in discussing things. Here? Not so much. lol

I hear ya. I for one am trying to take a much higher road these days…being critical without being triggered, calling something out without going negative. I have been told by my management staff that I have become somewhat negative in how I address things. LOL…Do Your JOB and I won’t have to. But it is food for thought.

Sounds like most of those incidents are potential safety concerns to me.

Funny horse piss is a safety concern. Get real bull racks dump more piss in 15 minutes than the horse left.
Mud on the license plate a safety concern. Get real 95 percent of rural vehicles have mud on the license plate.
Swerving to miss a turtle is a safety concern at 3 in the morning on a road where he hadn’t seen a car in over two hours. Bet the cop ran over the turtle in the chase to pull over my husband.
Tail light was out maybe. If the sheriff hadn’t given my husband who has had a drink in 30 years a breath test.

Not sure what this has to do with alleged racism in a thread about 4 black teens. But ok. Thanks for the insight on rural horse piss leaking out of a trailer. Topical indeed.

Your the ones saying only people with a darker skin tone are pulled over all the time for doing nothing.
I was proving to you that other people get pulled over for nothing too.
And just like a lib several people said well he deserved getting pulled over for nothing.
The only thing is he doesn’t whine about it.
Thought maybe you should all start a thread on how cowboys who were just traveling to the next rodeo are being stopped for driving in a black hat.

actually, no one said that.

If the only conclusion of the OP was that, in fact, four people were held at gun point unfairly, then it would have no relevance to other people being stopped unfairly.
If that was the intent of the OP, then why does the thread title include “Four black teens…”?
Sure, by itself the incident is a meaningless anecdote. That doesn’t explain 168 posts.

BTW, you can take selective anecdotes to show almost anything.

Are you able to articulate how the cop could be able to determine what the actual liquid was when he was in his car? Depending on the type of float it is not always possible to determine if there is a horse on board. Horse floats are sometimes used to carry other things.

I have said no such thing. You need to stop implying things that aren’t there.
