It looks like the normal channel for spying was through the UN Ambassador because Obama’s Un Ambassador was caught unmasking hundreds of people.
Obama’s administration was into all sorts of things. Lying to fisa courts.
Spying on the Trump campaign. Backup plans. You name it.
It looks like Obama’s people were interfering in elections abroad hence the Yovanovitch’s list of people she was protecting and spying on.

Coming back to this as we now know that Giuliani wrote a letter to Zelensky letting him know he was there on behalf of Trump as his PERSONAL COUNSEL, not as a government representative, either official or unofficial.
In fact, in the letter, Giuliani actually explains the distinction between Donald Trump the man and Donald Trump the President. He goes to great pains to make this distinction.
He also stated he was there with Trump’s full knowledge.

Trump is his client, a client under constant harassment from democrats hoping to fabricate any case for impeachment or indictment.
It’s relevant in that he was not a special envoy to the Ukraine for President Trump as people tried to pretend he was.
How is that relevant to the case? What is illegal about it?
