Flynn fires counsel. Hires new legal team

Put this conspiracy theory to rest. No ambush of Flynn in the eyes of the court.

Not looking good for Sydney Powell here at all. Sullivan accuses her of violating ethics rules. :flushed:

Mebbe a lawsuit. It’s been said the General is broke.

Is this thing on?

This is pretty huge news in one of the most followed criminal cases originating from the Trump Presidency. His first NSA is realistically looking at jail now, thanks to his decision to fire competent legal counsel and go with QAnon conspiracy theorists as his representation.

Bueller…Bueller…

Wow! Sullivan really smacked Flynn’s lawyers around on this. It certainly sounds like the DC Bar will be following up.
Couldn’t happen to a more deserving lawyer. This order is awesome!

I literally lol’d when he hired Republican Media TV grifter/lawyer Sydney Powell. No one is surprised by this.

Same here. And this is why we will never see the GOP actually call Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, Alexandra Chalupa, or the Whistleblower to testify before the American people. The CEC conspiracy theories implode when faced with actual scrutiny.

Yep. They do.

At some point they should be running out of lawyers that are willing to sell their souls to make these conspiracy arguments in front of a judge.[quote=“NebraskaFootball, post:56, topic:192080, full:true”]

It seems there is no shortage of those. Even incredibly bright, accomplished attorneys can succumb to the Kool-Aid.

This thread is surprisingly quiet, particularly seeing as how much time so many posters here spent defending Flynn and promising us that he would revoke his guilty plea, the charges would be thrown out, and the prosecutors charged with contempt.

Durham is on the job… Just have to wait…

It looks like Judge Sullivan also told Flynn to stay within 50 miles of DC pending his next court appearance.

Is that why there is a lack of participation on this topic?

Naw, that’s due to the egg on the face making it hard to read the screen…

Makes more sense.

Flynn’s attorneys claim they have no choice but to file a motion to change his guilty plea.
Here’s their motion.

Lol, govt breach of the plea deal. Didn’t Flynn do that when he didn’t fully cooperate, as per the plea deal?

Sullivan can reject this, correct?

He can deny the motion. Yes
