So thereâs nothing inherently segregationist about placing a majority of the schoolâs black and learning challenged students in the lone black teacherâs class?
Or telling her to just take it? They âdonât know what theyâre sayingâ and âdonât mean nothing by itâ?
Why should she be subjected to remarks like she only got her job by affirmative action when affirmative action has benefited more white womenâparticularly those who canât meet physical fitness standards in certain occupations?
This school needs a tough administrator like the first medical director employer of mine to bring together these Captain Dumbass white teachers and tell them âYou donât have to bring Ms. Jordan home for dinner, but you are NOT free to treat her in such a disrespectful manner!â
I still love Dr. Ali! He was a tough, but respectful man.
