The contents of that post are stupid.
Just wait.
I haven’t read the “bill”, obviously. From what I’ve read about the bill, I don’t have many objections to the categories.
Be interesting to see what comes of it.
You should read it.
Higher gas prices AND a per mile fee.
That’s the way to keep America running.
Bosun:Well you could give him (Trump) more credit.
You could also call the One Horse Dog Faced Pony Soldier a complete idiot. His (Biden) handlers are controlling what mind he has left. The Biden Show.
OK, fair enough.
Will you give Biden credit for actually trying to do something about infrastructure?
“They tried for years to do infrastructure, but they couldn’ t get it done…”
Yep it is all Trump’s fault. The 4year Adam pile of Shift and liberals impeachment was Trumps fault too
No, it’s not Trump’s fault that the Democrats passed a bipartisan infrastructure bill. We all agree on that.

What part of the bill is this?
Supreme_War_Pig: margaretms2:It’s telling that I can find no actual thread on this topic here.
So after years of endless “INFRASTRUCTURE WEEKS” during the last administration, Biden and the Democrats (and Republicans) have passed a (bipartisan) infrastructure bill.
Here’s an overview:
Roads, transit, internet: What's in the infrastructure bill | AP NewsIf you’re a Democrat/liberal/lefty, are you happy/angry/resigned? If you are a Republican, do you think that this legislation will, say, give Democrats enough tools to totally destroy the country by doing socialism? Is any of it acceptable? What do people think?
I am happy. I think that a modernized infrastructure will be essential for the 21st century competition.
I think it’s amazing that we are still benefiting from infrastructure improvements made during the FDR administration.
I know what you mean, but it also makes me sad how little we’ve devoted since midcentury.
Even the current backup with cargo ships is, in no small part, because our ports are too small now.

Look it up.
I’m not your Google monkey. You can easily download and read it like I am doing.

lol. “infrastructure”
what a joke.
it’s a lefty boondoggle bill.
Could you be more specific? I included an AP summary of the legislation.

Well that’s not good.

Why not a link to the actual legislation off the Senate website? You think the media is giving you everything that’s in there or the shiny objects that make people nod in agreement?

It’s also misleading. There’s no blanket “per mile fee” in the bill, as that poster suggests. There’s a pilot program that would study the effect and viability of a per-mile driving fee among a group of volunteers. Participants would be fully reimbursed for any charges they pay. Death Panels II: Electric Boogaloo.
7.5 billion for electric vehicle charging stations. The anti EV crowd just lost their favorite argument LOL!
Can you explain how that works? Is it free and paid by the tax payer? Is someone making a profit? If so, who? And why should tax payers build their business for them?

Because it’s ■■■■■■■ Hannity.com? This thread got relatively little attention as it is; I included a summary, which is about the level of rigor we do here. Dropping a .gov link seemed like a bad idea.
Reimbursed by whom?
Such language! Tsk, tsk.
