“The ruling, from U.S. District Judge Peter J. Messitte in Greenbelt, Md., will allow the plaintiffs in the case — the attorneys general of Maryland and the District of Columbia — to proceed with their case, which says Trump has violated the Constitution’s little-used emoluments clause.”
Man, the OP beat me to it. I was about to start a thread on this and call it Trump and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day.
I think the worst part of this for Trump is that he’s going to have to open some of his hotel records for this. He hates opening his records for some reason - makes you wonder if he’s hiding something. Or, more precisely, it makes you wonder what he’s hiding.
they lose their ■■■■ ever single day over things like: using a selfy stick, riding a bicycle, inviting Common to the white house, having a pizza maker at the white house.
losing their ■■■■ would not even begin to describe the rhetoric if he was selling hats.
Best thing Trump has done is to expose the Trumpsters for what they are. Completely rotten to the core. I didn’t think so much of our country was this shallow and completely devoid of any values or conviction.
They’re OK with lying, paying off porn stars, corruption, incompetence, debt, trillion dollar deficits, racism, bowing to Russia, attacking allies, disrespecting gold Star families, insulting POWs, and on and on and on.
Just about everything they’re for, they were once against. Everything they’re against, they used to be for.
It’s absolutely amazing to watch them worship Trump and actually think that he cares about them.
Personally, I prefer if he is only acting for himself. As a Hegelian, I am firmly on board with “world historical heros” leading the way. Their personal goals are congruent with what the pregnant universe is prepared to deliver. And until that child is born, you libs are spitting into the proverbial wind.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, this is just Steve Bannon’s “transformational historical leader that comes in cycles” nonsense tied up in different wrapping paper. Gravy for the brain.
Love that “I’m a Hegelian” stuff too. Oh, you believe in dialectics in literally the most basic way possible? Thesis + antithesis = synthesis? That’s very impressive.
