Now if there can be mass testing and quarantining put in place immediately after, if the results prove positive? It’s reported by S. Korean experts that 20% of those infected, show no symptoms and aren’t even aware they have the virus. They’re unintentional carriers of this disease. If we can test everyone and get an accurate and quick count, and then accordingly respond with quarantining, maybe we can get a handle on this pandemic…sooner, than later?
Yes these are necessary first steps.
Unfortunately this can now only be done in areas that aren’t overwhelmed because we failed to do this in the first place.

Hopefully if they can produce enough of those, then at least in some areas they can quarantine more of the carriers and allow some more freedom for those who don’t have it.

How are they going to test those that are not showing symptoms. How are they going to convince those to come in for testing?
Just because you or I think this needs done, how to convince Joe public.

Tell them they’re doing their part to potentially end the lockdowns sooner.
Think that will work on that hard case that does not trust the govt?
Just saying, there WILL be some that refuse testing and no matter what you say or logic you use it will not work on everyone.

That’s a very strong point. Some people won’t even get their children vaccinated.

Of course there will be. And many won’t.
You don’t need everyone to be tested.
You need a representative sample of the population.
