Apparently the National School Boards Association is sorry it got caught colluding with the White House and the corrupt phony Attorney General.
“National School Boards Association sorry for ‘language’ in letter that likened parents to domestic terrorists | Fox News”
“ The National School Boards Association issued an apology Friday night for a letter sent to the Biden administration which targeted some parents who are concerned about their child’s school curriculum and said certain of their actions could be domestic terrorism.”
Later in the same story…” After the NSBA claimed in its letter that some rhetorical clashes between school boards and parents may amount to domestic terrorism, Attorney General Merrick Garland issued a memorandum that instructed the FBI to take the lead on a task force to address threats against school officials, including creating a centralized way to report such threats…A person familiar with Garland’s thinking told Fox News that Garland and Department of Justice officials are pleased with the updated letter as it now is catching up to his statement this week in front of House Judiciary. The person added that the letter now syncs up with Garland, and that the attorney general is solely focused on preventing violence, not calling parents domestic terrorists.”
My interpretation…Garland (thank God that fraud never made the Supreme Court) hit his ass handed to him this week in front of congress and needed the school boards association to pretend it’s sorry. The school boards association is only sorry it got called out for being a bunch of power hungry frauds…so the played along.
Funny - one group provides education to and advocacy on the behalf of people in a role, and the other provides education to and advocacy on behalf of people in a role.
One provides education and advocacy to people in private enterprise and the other does that for people in public education. That you can’t see the difference is much of the problem.
Update to this story. The boy accused of the sexual assault was found guilty today.
A 14-year-old Loudoun County, Virginia, high school student charged with two counts of sexually assaulting a schoolmate in a bathroom has been found guilty in an adjudicatory hearing in Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
A few more details of the incident came out during the trial.
During opening statements of the two-hour hearing, Loudoun County prosecutor Barry Zweig said the two teens chatted daily on the Discord app, in the weeks leading up to the May 28, 2021, incident at Stone Bridge High School, in Ashburn.
The teens had “sexually charged conversations,” and had engaged in consensual sexual relations twice in weeks prior, in a bathroom at the school.
On May 28, the boy texted the girl and asked her to meet him in the girls bathroom, and she agreed. However, during that encounter, he forced himself on her, without her consent.
Also …
During cross-examination by defense attorney William Mann, the girl acknowledged she hadn’t told investigators initially about the consensual encounters.
From the witness stand, she was asked several times by Zweig, who was assisted by Commonwealth’s Attorney Buta Biberaj, whether she gave permission or consent for the sexual act on May 28.
“Never,” she responded.
The judge made the right ruling here. Consent was never given.
From these new details it’s clear that the boy’s gender or who has access to bathrooms had nothing to do with the assault.
Good. Now we need to know why the school board hid this from the community … why the father of the girl involved was made to look like a domestic terrorist…and what steps will be taken to clean house at that school and on that school board.
From what I’ve read, the school followed the correct protocol for reporting the assault. They were also not allowed to comment on the assault until the police investigation was complete.
That isn’t to say the protocol is correct and shouldn’t be changed.
I m not a lawyer (don’t even like the ambulance chasers I ve met)…but the school board has a responsibility to all of the students…the rapist was transferred to another school endangering students there…so yes if that’s the protocol it needs to be changed.
From your link…” The girl’s family has pledged to file a civil lawsuit against the school system, for failing to protect her by allowing the boy to transfer schools after being arrested. The family, and others are alleging the school system and school board engaged in a coverup… The statement from the girl’s family says they “stand stronger than ever in moving forward to ensure that those responsible in the Loudoun County School system are held accountable, so that this may never happen again to anyone else’s child.”
Just as a reminder the superintendent there don’t forget actually apologized and a school board member resigned… The superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools issued an apology and a school board member resigned on Friday as the district faces mounting backlash over its response to two alleged sexual assaults, one of which was allegedly carried out by a skirt-wearing male student in a girls’ bathroom.
Superintendent Scott Ziegler apologized for saying during a June event that the Virginia district had no record of assaults taking place in its bathrooms. His comments came amid debate about policy changes related to self-identified transgender students. Ziegler said Friday that he misunderstood the question when he made the comment.
Ziegler also said he is “sorry that we failed to provide the safe, welcoming, and affirming environment that we aspire to provide.”
Not sure why Mr Ziegler would be apologizing if they were following “protocol “. This isn’t over.
