Donald Trump and the MYTH of the "non violent" protester

I don’t speak for a “side”.

Confederate war monuments. That had already been peacefully voted on to be removed. These people they joined an advertised nazi rally for their lost cause. Doesn’t sound like a good person.

You can choose COVID if you continue to not follow CDC guidelines. But at any rate…

If violence protestors are under 3%, I consider that peaceful protest a success.

97% peaceful isn’t good enough?

The conservative media and the RNC has been very outspoken with their condemnation of the violence. Do you thing the DNC and the liberal media could stand to be a little more outspoken?

No. Violent protestors aren’t fine people.

Trump would call some Republicans “human scum”

Sooo? The first amendment allows for people to peacefully protest against their removal. And many fine people did.

No, the conservative media is tugging their pearls enough for everyone. They’ve got that market cornered.

He would. I would prefer he didn’t. But that’s still not a good enough reason to embrace socialism. :man_shrugging:

I think that there are many peaceful protestors, and a violent few do not condemn the rest.

For example, a while back a Bernie supporter went to protest with Antifa and got clobbered by his fellow protesters. His crime? He brought a “fascist” American flag to the protest.

Given the nearly two months of nightly Antifa violence in Portland, anyone joining Antifa is not a peaceful protestor.

I like good cops. The ones that don’t strap on helmets to protect a goon squad. If they intermingle with people who pummel peaceful protesters with rubber bullets, tear gas, and batons, they are absolutely guilty. A huge part of the problem. They’re siding with hyper violent maniacs and providing them cover. If you stand by and watch for 9 minutes while your allies murder a man, beat unarmed women into the ground, and blind them with less-lethal ammunition, you are guilty. Silence is violence.

Congratulations. The Antifa goons appreciate your support as well as Biden’s and the DNC.

I’m guessing that the liberal saying “silence is violence” does not apply to Biden supporters? :man_shrugging:

That’s BS. I’ve been to a lot of protest marches from the time I was in HS until now(been to 2 BLM marches here in DC in the past 2 months). Not one violent act. Hell, even when some of us were arrested for protesting in front of the Sudanese embassy back in the early 2000’s everyone complied with the police when put in handcuffs. The million man march back when I was in HS, had over a million black men which was a big ass event, not one arrest or report of violence. So no, it’s not a myth.

Not at all. 100% peaceful or find yourself behind bars with a record for the rest of your life.

So should the the goons in Portland and Seattle stop pummeling them with deadly weapons? Are the goons using smart bombs that only hit bad cops? All three cops who were blinded were bad? Is that your take? :man_shrugging:

That’s because they probably are. :woman_shrugging:

Public order in Portland, Oregon is not a central government issue. Protect the courthouse and focus on the 'Rona Trump.

It doesn’t matter if the courthouse is the last building standing in that ■■■■ hole.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

Fair enough. Is it good enough not to commit violence? Would it be helpful if they actually condemned the violence commited by their allies? Good idea?

We don’t have a 100% peaceful society, do we? Why would we expect all protests, all of the time, to be non-violent?

What makes them unique?
