How could he possibly know she was unarmed? Bomb in her backpack? People don’t smash and climb through windows inside the Capitol for any good reasons, and likely violent reasons.

How? How about because all of the officers on the other side of the door, did not feel threatened. In fact, they peacefully left the scene because by their actions, they concluded there was no threat…period.
Guns are not allowed in DC. they brought plenty of weapons. And failed at their attempt to overthrow the election process.
