Do We, As US Citizens, Have A Right

9th and 10th go hand in hand.

What rights are retained by the people?

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

The one’s not delegated to the Fed Government, nor prohibited by the Constitution.

So why isn’t Colorado not stopping traffic as people leave the state to make sure they’re aren’t transporting weed? Or should the goverment do that?

Could Utah sue Colorado for their pot problem?

Anything I deem personal should be protected. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case.

Then why didn’t they say citizens?

It’s like a guy who works on my ATV and motorcycle. He ran a repair shop. Someone was interested in purchasing his building . . . so he took the money and retired. He told a few people – if you need work done, just let me know I can do it in my garage at home. He’s not open to the public, he’s a friend who works on others ATV’s and Motorcycles.
He’s a funny guy, got pulled out of retiment to work in an auto parts store. New manage came in . . . he retired again because the new manager didn’t like his style (that got him hired in the first place).
City’s not going to be breathing down his neck that once or twice a month he’s working on someone’s ATV or Motorcycle.

Some states are actually trying that. Will be interesting to see if they succeed.

Government shouldn’t be doing that. I don’t think other than California that has ag inspection statation that only run certain times of the year – any states have anything set up. (and California’s only for incomeing traffic. Pain in the ass since the freeway filters down to just a couple lanes that everytime I’ve gone through has no one manning it.)

It would be a tough fight for the city, but they could. Technically tax commission can come after you (in Utah) if you earn more than $400 a year.

So what rights are retained by the people under that amendment?

Then what ones are restricted by another amendment (10th) that are then reserved to the states –

No it wouldn’t be a “tough fight for the city” at all.

To prove that he is running a business? Sure it would.

Problem is, they make the accusation and hammer the living hell out of him and it’s up to him to prove he ISN’T.

The states intruding on basic rights of the people…yes or no?

What are those basic rights? It’s basically spelled out in early Amendment.

Did the state give rights to dairy farmer? Or did dairy farmer had inherent right?

Did the federal goverment gave the state the right to violate it? Be careful where you go here.

Not sure that’s a valid comparison. Pot is not legal under Federal Law which is why banks will not do business with pot growers. Also, if a person buys pot in a state where it’s legal and takes it into a state where it isn’t, they will face arrest.
