since the stations are ABC affiliates they are contractually obligated to air Jimmy Kimmel with only a limited number of preemptions. Either their preeption limit was two episodes, or they know they could face a lawsuit and lose their station affiliations leaving them with 22 independent stations with no primetime programming.
Neither did the “Trump’s FCC is limiting speech”
narrative.

Kimmel lied…he got his ass in hot water with Disney and the networks affiliates…he was asked to apologize…didn’t, and still hasn’t z. The reporting was he actually planned to double down on stupid.
He got what amounted to a 1 week suspension.
