Charlie Kirk has been shot at an event held at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The Utah Valley University stop was part of Kirk’s American Comeback Tour, which is scheduled to hit numerous campuses across the nation in the fall. The suspected shooter, an older male, has been taken into custody.
From 200 yards clearly targeted.
Do we know Kirk’s condition yet?
Just awful. A young father. I hope and pray he makes it.

Given the very large amount of blood that appeared to be pouring from his head . . . I doubt he’ll make it.

he made it to the hospital which doesn’t mean much but he got shot in the neck right to the carotid, hard to see how you survive that.

It’s unlikely but not impossible. Soldiers are saved from shots like that all the time. The key is the first 20 minutes. If they slowed the immediate bleeding and got him to a proper medical facility in 20 minutes, he might have a chance.

the amount of blood loss was tremendous and instant as a hit in that area would show. Miracles do happen tho.
Yeah he needs a ton of luck or Godly intervention for sure.
Most news outlets are saying he was shot in or near his neck?

apparently the suspect is not in custody. The older man was released.
I don’t see reports of anyone else in custody.
This is awful. Hoping for the best.

What’s the message if you can’t win in a debate shoot them? I thought colleges were a gun free zone. Quite a few people celebrating this on social media sad.
