You have to have a reason to investigate in the first place. Your false equivalency doesn’t change that.

Too bad there isn’t a penalty of being stripped of office for something like that.

The constitutional way is bring up charges, and have a house vote on it.

2/3rds needed to expel member.

That would be like taking away Jared Kushners secret clearance for lying on his financial disclosure form.
