To the first it’s pretty obvious they did.
The collusion narrative came from the “dossier” paid for by all three the Clinton Campaign, the DNC, and the FBI. At various times while he was building and peddling it he was in the employ of all three.
There does appear at least to be some pretty clear indications the Brit’s were also involved.
I wonder who the sources were for the Guardian article? It had an authoratarative air about it. One would think that collusion would be easy to prove. But it still is rather elusive, if you ask me.
No. He did not commit a crime. He did though commit, no matter how innocent, an unforgivable political act. I believe he truly believed what he said, much like Papa Bush’s “read my lips, no new taxes” statement.
They both were laid low though by acts of Congress that they were unable to overcome so as to keep their promises.

Meh, at some point he knew the standards required by the ACA would result in many insurance companies dropping plans that didn’t meet those requirements and thus a change in negotiating networks and what not. There was a point in time that there was no excuse for pushing such a falsehood that it’s unreasonable to think anything other than he was so invested in that talking point he didn’t care that it wasn’t true at that point.

It’s not like the FBI didn’t already have experience with Carter Page having dubious contacts with Russians in the past.
