Just to return the topic at hand… (sure Judicial Watch spends $35M a year harassing Democrats but they never accomplish anything other than entertaining fans like Weedhopper).
Fox’s lead story tonight is Trump’s attacking Democrats and the (unidentified) Whistleblower. Fine to go on the counterattack but where in the interim has Fox reported the serious new allegations that were raised yesterday and which provoked this counterattack.
How can Fox’s readers ever hope to understand the situation broadly if they see only there responses but not the initial thrusts that generate the ripostes. Why are the conservative media unwilling to present the news – but only the conservative response.
Contrast that with the New York Times editorial page which has opinion pieces both praising the impeachment effort and condemning it as an act of desperation. I know its commonplace to dismiss the Times as a liberal mouthpiece here but I wonder how many people who criticize the Times actually read it.
