Democrats demand a ban on silencers, complete with full confiscation. Just a prelude for future gun confiscation attempts, and it’s very clear that they believe everything they see in Hollywood movies, as they have no clue how these devices work. It’s more apparent than ever that the sole goal of the Democratic Party is to harass gun owners to the point they willingly disarm themselves.
Oh for Democrat silencers!

Not really. Gun control of some sort has broad support in the party, and to a lesser extent across the population.
It is windmill tilting insofar as it will never pass the courts. If they are okay with bump stocks, there’s no problem with suppressors.
silencers? we need to rid ourselves of assault type weapons and polits are worried about silencers.

I seem to recall pointing out that there was no enumerated power behind the ban, just as all current federal gun control laws have no enumerated power backing them (among the jurisdictions of the States) and are therefore forbidden by the 10th Amendment.
