Why would it expire? Why wouldn’t congress renew it? By the way, all tax cuts are temporary, it’s never written in stone and can be changed by congress at any time. So yes, if we allow democrats to control government it will expire, but not if Republicans, who have stated they want it to be permanent are in control.

It’s not not being used as a pejorative here either… the article is saying that its an inaccurate description of Bernie supporters. Just because it isn’t being used here to disparage someone doesn’t mean it isn’t a pejorative. There might be some trace folks out there using it ironically, perhaps a few who are actually proud to call themselves that… but nothing sizable enough to not make its default and common intention a pejorative.
