The illusion that Libs love to hold onto is that everyone is equal. They’re not. The money received at the start of the game gives everyone an equal chance to succeed, which you Libs should love. So if one person succeeds in the game and another doesn’t, it’s not lack of an equal start that makes the difference, it’s what a player DOES with their money that makes the difference.

No I don’t. I was referring to our health care system, our NDIS, our PBS, amongst other reforms.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic every state or territory government that has gone to an election has been returned. That is quite clearly an endorsement of the voters in those jurisdictions for the measures they have put in place in handling the COVID-19 pandemic. Indeed in my state’s election in March, 2021 on a two party preferred basis the premier received 7 out of every 8 votes in his seat.
The IPA is a very right-wing think tank whose views should be taken with the proverbial pinch of salt.
I can absolutely guarantee that no person has been arrested in the NZ on a charge of having KFC in the boot of their car.

You do realize the US population is about 10 times the population of Australia don’t you? Which means it’s ten times harder and more expensive to implement, and since Americans aren’t ten times smarter, wiser or richer than Australians, it’s a much harder job to get to a universal health care system then in other countries. US politicians are corrupt and inefficient and hampered by at least 27 levels of redundant idiotic bureaucracy. You want an example of what our government does with its programs they administer to “help” Americans? Just look at our Social Security system. It’s almost broke because the Lying thieving whores can’t help but waste every penny they steal years before they even collect the revenue needed to pay for their stupidity.
Trust them with healthcare? Only a Lib believes they could do it better than what we have now, especially Libs in countries with a fraction of our population.
