In fact, the ruling was about the specific circumstances of two children separated from their parents.

Yeah. That was the ruling that declared what happened as unconstitutional.
I don’t know how more clear it could be.
Then they sued and won and the government is compelled to come to a payment agreement.

Clearly and demonstrably the COVID-19 vaccines have been effective in reducing the severity and the deaths.
It is a complete nonsense to claim that the quality of health services delivered by health professionals per se would be greatly diminished if they were government employees.
People coming to Australia seeking asylum status is not illegal. Those why fly into Australia who overstay their visa period would be considered illegally in Australia.
I wonder whether it is common knowledge amongst Trump supporters that the USA, during Trump’s presidency, accepted refugees who were seeking asylum in Australia via Nauru and/or PNG.
How exactly again do people get into Australia in the first place?
And what does Australia do with people who overstay their visas?

It would depend on whether they apply for refugee status.

As a matter of fact, Florida is doing so well that it is offering NYC’s police officers a $5K bonus to move to Florida and join its police force where they will be appreciated and are free to make their own medical decisions and choices with regard to COVID.

My state’s COVID-19 cases per million is around 445 and deaths per million is 3.6. We currently have zero COVID-19 cases.
What are Florida’s comparable rates?
My assumption is that the money received for passing go is the wages they receive for their efforts to continue moving forward, IOW, not sitting down and expecting everyone else to give them stuff.
It does take effort, even if it is just rolling dice. Rolling dice is a good metaphor for what Capitalist entrepreneurs do don’t you think? They put forth their own efforts, money, talent and ambition for a chance at big success, but have no guarantees they will achieve it. The risk is theirs, as should be most of the reward.
