I don’t know about doctors in Australia, but here in America they are supposed to be about SAVING LIVES! Granted, there are times when a patient has too many issues, things that make a transplant too risky, to do a transplant, but Covid is not one of them. You know that here in America we have tests that can be done to determine if a person has Covid and quarantine protocols that are very effective in preventing its spread. Doctors here also are aware that people who have had, and recovered from Covid have natural immunity that their very own bodies developed as they were fighting off the virus! They call them ANTIBODIES, and apparently there are many other illnesses that cause them to be produced in a persons body when they are afflicted with certain illnesses. Furthermore, ( and this is he amazing thing), these antibodies have demonstrated a resistance to reinfection that is as good or BETTER than the stuff they want to put in a persons body by injection!!!
We didn’t use to let people die in America simply due to their political ideology, that is until he TREASONOUS SCUMBAG, AKA JOE BIDEN ascended to power.
What that hospital is doing is reprehensible and there is no excuse for it.

They probably won’t give liver transplants to people that have no intention to quit drinking, either. Better get on them about that,too!

People fired for cause, have been known to lose it and shoot the place up. Never claimed it to be a rational decision.

There are rules in place for the steps a kidney transplant recipient needs to qualify for a kidney. Which includes both donor and recipient being fully vaccinated, the recipient’s family members and PETS being vaccinated, amongst a host of other conditions.
Don’t want to do it? Don’t get a kidney. Long and the short of it.

Soooooo, I guess you’re in favor of hospitals letting EVERYONE die because they have done, or not done what the hospitals believe they should.
I can here it now. “We’re sorry mr. Smith, we aren’t going to give you radiation or chemo treatments because you’re a smoker and we think that isn’t in your best interest.”

Oh come now Optrader. The democrat party leadership do care about human life and are a very compassionate Administration. If they weren’t, why would they be considering to pay reparations to millions of illegal entrants?

They are settling a lawsuit.
A lawsuit that the US Government would lose and likely pay out more than the settlement.
Refusing to get the COVID-19 vaccine has nought to do with political ideology.
Again the faux outrage is notable. If the aim is truly to provide the best medical outcome for people in the USA, why doesn’t the USA have universal health care?
Because not everybody pays into it. I’m guessing if you Aussies had 20 or thirty million people in your country, that had come in illegally, you wouldn’t want to pay for it either. It’s easy for you to criticize American taxpayers who selfishly want to keep what WE EARN, when YOU live on a big island that naturally keep people from entering.
