Which is EXACTLY what trump realized about his base in the campaign. He knew they would completely forget about his promises, disregard his dishonesty, make excuses for his past behavior, and generally engage in short-attention-span politics.
And yes, trump’s claim about Mexico paying for the wall was bogus. He knew it then, he knows it now. That said, once trump got a bunch of fanatics to chant with him about it, there ain’t no goin back.

Uh, that would be savings that should’ve been realized IN ADDITION to the money Mexico specifically pays for the wall, as Trump promised they would.
Any way you cut it, the wall money comes out of American’s pockets.

One can only hope Donald does this. He never chooses the correct move on anything.
When you have anywhere between 12- 22 million illegal aliens running around in your country people quit taking the party seriously when they say “Were all about border security” it just looks silly at this point plz stop.
