Cowboys for Trump creator found guilty in second US Capitol attack trial

Couy Griffin was convicted of one of two misdemeanor counts during a bench trial.

Guilty of entering a restricted area.

Not guilty of disorderly conduct.

He faces up to 365 days in jail on the misdemeanor count.

And while his actions on January 6 were stupid, his taking a bench trial instead of a jury trial was smart. He felt he could beat one of the charges and did and by taking a bench trial, he will likely get a reduced sentence.

Hmmmmmmm…I wish I could say the same about the media and politicians that portrayed this whole event but they won’t have to go to trial. They just lie and get away with it.

A year for misdemeanor trespass in the Capitol.

That is political persecution.

Carry on with the team back slapping.

Trespassing. Too bad they don’t have any interest in going after the clowns that spent 2020 burning, looting, beating, and killing.

How messed up is all of that??!!

I wonder if they have considered jay walking for some of those who didn’t even trespass.

…and individuals deeply involved with child porn get only a few months in jail plus the judge that thought this was fair is a lib SCOTUS nominee? Does anybody else see our justice being applied unequally?

He committed a crime.

Are you for letting misdemeanors go with punishment when caught.

To a restricted area.

A crime.

So ruled a jury of his peers.
