Hell I’m old enough to have seen mass outbreaks of measles, mumps, rubella, and polio which is why I’ve been warning about the potential for a devastating pandemic for years while the lefties laughed and called me a fear monger etc.
They blindly blamed and tried to shame Trump for doing exactly what he needed to do early on which is probably what kept him from ramping up a world wide travel ban in the first couple of weeks which would have likely prevented hundreds of thousands of cases that will eventually work through the population if not more.

For which there is a simple solution. Sequester and quarantine those at highest risk to protect them from exposure.
For the rest of us even if we do get it, it won’t be any worse than a bad cold or the flu.
Unless you’re eighty or older and already compromised you have almost no chance of even getting seriously ill with this virus much less dying from it.

We should seriously consider suspending air travel to/from China for all non citizens and institute a quarantine protocol for returning citizens.
All arriving ships should be stopped before reaching US ports by the CG and/or Navy to have everyone on board examined as well.
Don’t allow Chinese citizens to disembark at all and again, where necessary institute quarantine policies for returning Americans.
