That itâs a monumental undertaking is not charitable. We are talking about distributing to thousands of hospitals, thousands of trucks and tens of thousands of people involved. The logistics alone are a pretty big deal.

That is my point. If the federal government had taken responsible for the purchasing of the required supplies it would have reduced the unit cost and not had states bidding against each other and the federal government.
As an aside, my nurse friend who is working with substandard mask and other equipment is required to work unless she has three symptoms yet has to self quarantine when she is not at work. Her team is testing over 500 people a day for the past few days. Our people on the front lines are going through hell right now.
Itâs not an answer at all. For weeks there have been commitments that the masks were coming; that is not the reality. When pressed to provide a definitive date not one person was able to give an answer.
I donât downplay the enormity of the logistics. But there is very little evidence, if any, that Trump did much about it at all.

He should have said that the federal government would take control and be responsible for ordering all the necessary supplies for all states, DC, and territories. He should have asked the states etc. for two figures for each piece: a figure that will satisfy their immediate need and an overall figure. He then should have used the armed forces logistical expertise to expedite the delivery of same to all the states etc.
Placing orders for stuff they canât make fast enough wonât accomplish a thing. Nobody has better logistical expertise than the trucking companies.
So wait, you want the 7 or so years of trials. I think it was your posts that said months. Months is usually (from the FDA website) a very limited study with very few people. If that works onto another study with more people. That works onto yet another study with even more people. FDA website says those studies take YEARS.
So do you want REAL clinical studies or do you want only want a single study with a lot of people for a few month?
And right now the âhe should have acted a month agoâ is with 20/20 hingsight.
Again, January/Feb he started restricict movement to/from restricted areas and congress and media was throwing a fit.
