Because lib tears and memes are the most important thing ever.
There’s no way to quantify the impact of Trump’s behavior. I will point out things that I didn’t like, but I’m not trying to assign any particular body count to him.
Translation … “I will hate Trump regardless of what he does or does not do.”
Right?
There’s no way to quantify the impact of Trump’s behavior. I will point out things that I didn’t like, but I’m not trying to assign any particular body count to him.
No? Seems like you © have assigned all of them to him.
To start with yes. As Truman said “The buck stops here”. If the screw up they should publicly apologize and resign or the people call for a recall. In business if a company screws up the CEO, normally under pressure from the board and stockholders, will resign so why not politicians?
Does it? The CEO doesn’t resign if somebody else “screws up”, he fires who ever screwed up. Presidents can’t fire mayors and governors.
Truman was talking about decisions that were his to make. Interesting you chose him as an example, given the things he did after the war was over.
Is NYC Trump’s “buck”?

And this is the thing I notice…this almost insane fixation on holding anybody accountable EXCEPT Trump by his supporters.
The buck always stops with anybody but Trump.
I don’t get that.
Not at all. Does every buck stop with Trump?
Bosun:You never will.
Why can’t you explain plainly why Trump should never be held accountable for anything.
Is the President responsible for the results of NYC?

Then how to you qualify him as a failure? Feelings?
My bus was late so I was late for work … it’s Trump’s fault.

“I’m blaming Trump, but I can’t quantify it.”
Tangible08:the most disastrous public health and economic crisis in modern American history.
Covid19 is not the most public health disaster in modern American history but it’s made to appear that way to be used for political advantage.
The panic and crisis is caused by the extreme over inflated original “models” coming from the likes of Fouci and other bureaucrats which continue to be revised downward and as much as 90% was wrong on the death rate and 40% wrong on the amount of respirators needed as well as being wrong on the amount of hospitalizations, it was all wrong from the beginning and the continual revisions are done with impunity as the bureaucrats are not held accountable for putting the fear of God into the country and putting the economy in free fall.
So much wrong in this post. So. Much. Wrong.
Samm:My bus was late so I was late for work … it’s Trump’s fault.
“I’m blaming Trump, but I can’t quantify it.”
I would have phrased it the other way around, but yeah, that’s about it.

We collect all the data, analyze it and make decisions based on logic, not emotion. Literally.

No every buck doesn’t stop with Trump.
But yes it is true what I said that with die hard Trump supporters, the buck stops anywhere EXCEPT with him.
He’s excused to a degree even the most die hard Obama supporters didn’t do with Obama.
AmusedObserver: WuWei:New York
New Jersey
Michigan
Louisiana
Massachusetts
California
IllinoisThe states with the most total deaths. About 75% of the country’s total. Coincidentally, they also all have several other things in common.
Is it just to blame the democratic governors of these states for these results?
You might want to actually take a look at what’s going on in California before including it on a list like this.
I looked at worldometer and ordered it by total number of deaths. 598. Up 14 today.
What did I get wrong?
I will admit to adding up the 75% number in my head.
You were clearly attempting to associate Democrat state government with lots of COVID-19 deaths. California’s results are outstanding, really remarkable, and your numbers reflect that.
Might want to think about the prospect of President Newsom in a couple of cycles.
But yes it is true what I said that with die hard Trump supporters, the buck stops anywhere EXCEPT with him.
Its not true, it’s your opinion.

I understand why you feel that way, but I don’t think that’s true at all. I was here for the entire Obama presidency and I don’t remember a peep out of any of his supporters about any of his errors. I do remember rationalizations. In fact one of them was posted today.
I think the only difference is the sides swapped.
I certainly don’t remember your criticisms. Maybe a “I wish he hadn’t done that.”
JayJay:But yes it is true what I said that with die hard Trump supporters, the buck stops anywhere EXCEPT with him.

No…it is true.
Trump never claims accountability for anything, and his core supporters also justify him when he dodges said accountability.

There it is again, you libs are sooooo good at ascribing motivations to other people’s motives. Read the posts again and be honest, is that clearly “attempting” to do or did I do just the opposite.
California’s results are outstanding, really remarkable, and your numbers reflect that.
On what basis? #6 out of 50 in deaths?
On a per capita basis California is #34 in terms of deaths.

“Accountability”? You are trying to hold him responsible, not accountable. You’ve flat out said it.
What did obama take responsibility for?
