The intentions and methods of Nazi Germany. I’m not going to argue with you about the Holocaust, though.

It’s their dime if it should belong to them.
WuWei:
Then what are you talking about?
The intentions and methods of Nazi Germany. I’m not going to argue with you about the Holocaust, though.
Ok, intention and methods. China and Tibet.
Ok, intention and methods. China and Tibet.
I’m not defending China either.
WuWei:
It acted out of love for our “English cousins”. Heart.

Listen to the rationalizations from then.

Huh, ok if you say so.
Listen to the rationalizations from then.
What do you think the US should have done after Pearl Harbor? We chose to declare war on Japan, and Germany declared war on us. So was it in our best interests to support England and France against Germany or not?
Huh, ok if you say so.
Quote me defending China.

GERMANY DID NOT BOMB PEARL HARBOR BLUTO!
No.
WuWei:
Huh, ok if you say so.
Quote me defending China.
You just said you aren’t.
Nemesis:

America has never put the interests of other countries above its own
That’s not true.
Disagree all you want, its not going to change my mind.
It was not in our best interest to save in England and France in WWII. We could have very easily traded with Germany.
It was not in our best interest to cover the French retreat from Indochina.
Both of those are arguable. WWII allowed the US to consolidate its position as a global superpower.
If you believe the reasons why we went into Indochina it was to stop communism from spreading around the globe.
We can sit here all day and go back and forth. Ultimately you will have your opinion and I will have mine.
Ultimately you will be wrong.
“We”?
And I could say the same and state ultimately you will be wrong.
Round and round we go.
No, you can’t.
Ok that works
GERMANY DID NOT BOMB PEARL HARBOR BLUTO!
Germany declared war on us. I guess we should have just told them they didn’t bomb Pearl Harbor and they would have backed off.
WuWei:

After we warred on them without declaring.
How was it in our best interests to export millions of good paying jobs to China?
How was it in our best interests to continue a war in Afghanistan for almost two decades?
How was it in our best interests to ignore our own hemisphere for fifty years while extending our military might around the rest of the world?
How was it in our best interests to export our missile technology to China?
When a government is basically owned by the lobbyists, as long as its actions benefits the corporate masters, that is all that truly matters.
All of those things you listed, were very profitable and benefited the corporations that were involved.
Until we democratize our economy, that will always be the case.
After we warred on them without declaring.
Which has nothing to do with what we’re talking about, but okay.
WuWei:

What?!? It has everything to do with it. It’s the reason Germany declared war on us!
What on earth are you on about?

Right. Unions.
What?!? It has everything to do with it. It’s the reason Germany declared war on us!
No, why Germany declared war has nothing to do with what was in our best interests after the declaration.
We can expect WHO to have new leadership in the not too distance future. I do not think it is a corrupt organization but more it suffers from terrible leadership.
Who appointed the present WHO leader? Did he have a stellar corruption-free pedigree before he was appointed? Would a trustworthy organisation appoint him to be it’s head?
